Elliott Rae was recommended to us at Liberty HR Recruitment as a potential speaker for our HR Leaders’ Forums by Rob Neil OBE (and let’s face it, any friend of Rob’s is a friend of ours, right?). He is also a life-long QPR fan, so Den already thinks he’s pretty ace!
The first few months of fatherhood were a whirlwind for Elliott. He needed a space to express himself. At the time he didn’t know that quite so many other new Dads felt the same way.
So here at Liberty HR Recruitment we are excited to announce Elliott will be delivering the next in our series of HR Leaders’ Forums, to take place on Wednesday the 9th of June. This session is entitled “Dads at Work: Fatherhood, Love, Mental Health and Masculinity”.
As founder of Music-Football-Fatherhood (MFF) a parenting and lifestyle platform for men. Elliott is a Diversity and Inclusion Leader who has held senior roles in Government including as Head of Diversity & Inclusion at HM Treasury. He has vast experience of working with organisations to support working dads and parents. MFF has been described by the BBC as “The UK’s most exciting parenting and lifestyle platform for men, it’s the dads’ version of Mumsnet” Elliott has written articles for The Independent and Buzzfeed and MFF has featured on BBC radio and TV News. Elliott has also drawn praise from Hollywood heavyweight, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson!
In this session Elliott will talk about:
- How MFF engages with and supports men through open conversations around fatherhood
- Fatherhood, equal parenting and work in 2021; the challenges facing working dads
- The future of work and how to build jobs that are attractive to working parents
This event will take place via Zoom on 9th June and will start at 12:30 (although we advise that you log on at 12:20) and will last until 13:45
These forums are designed as an opportunity to connect, inspire and share ideas with a network of fellow HR Leaders in a supportive and collaborative environment. Elliott will talk for 45 minutes to 1 hour and then you will have the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.
