We are delighted to announce that the annual Liberty HR Conference will be held on Thursday 13th November 2025 at the Solent Hotel, Whiteley.

This year, we would like all of us to take a moment to be proud of everything we have achieved – and continue to accomplish – in an ever-demanding HR world! And to help us with this, we have an exciting and packed day planned with some of the most inspiring and noteworthy guest speakers we’ve ever managed to gather together for an event such as this!

This will be our 5th annual conference (now the biggest independent HR conference outside of London) and this year it is entitled “Pride in Our Achievements – HR in a Demanding World!”

The day will include guest speakers presenting to us on themes suggested by attendees from previous events including Mental Health/Wellbeing, AI, Ageing Women, Neurodiversity in the workplace and Employment Law..

We are VERY excited to announce that our very special guest speaker on the day will be none other than  Katie Piper OBE – who needs very little introduction of course! Katie is a shining example of positivity in action when faced with huge challenges. She is an icon of her generation.

A prominent author, broadcaster and internationally recognised motivational speaker, Katie Piper has been changing the landscape in the world of beauty for over a decade. She was the first woman with visible differences to appear in TV and billboard adverts for brands such as La Roche Posay and L’Oreal. Her charity The Katie Piper Foundation achieved Katie’s dream to provide the first rehabilitation centre in the UK for people with life altering burns and scarring.

Katie continues to inspire millions of people all over the world with her bestselling books, her TV shows including her ITV breakfast show, her shows for U&W filmed in the USA, her podcasts and inspirational speaking.

And Katie is just the start! We also have the following experts joining us:

Dr Lucy Ryan – Director of Mindspring and author of “Revolting Women”. Lucy will be speaking about why women of midlife are walking out of business – and what we can do about it!

Dr Jo BurrellClinical Psychologist, Co-Founder of Ultimate Resilience and HR Mental Wellbeing Campaigner will shine a spotlight on the hidden struggles of HR professionals, revealing shocking statistics on burnout, depression, and anxiety.

Ben Wade – Owner/MD of The West Peak – presenting to us on managing an AI employee.

Kathryn Evans – Head of Employment Law at Trethowans with an – always popular – Employment Law Q&A, as well as a talk about neurodiversity in the workplace.

Perry Timms – our dear friend, leading HR thinker, influencer and author of multiple titles including the brand-newly published, “The HR Operating Model” (2025). Perry will round off the day with one of his usual sessions that provide fresh, thought-provoking and timely considerations for HR professionals everywhere!

. Along with these brilliant guest speakers, the ticket price will also include:

  • A two-course hot & cold buffet lunch
  • Unlimited tea, coffee, water and fresh fruit
  • Freshly-baked cookies in the morning
  • Afternoon ‘Tuck-Shop’ style snacks
  • Free on-site car-parking

Tickets are priced at £75 each – which is still heavily subsidised by us – and reflects the larger venue, additional extras on the day and the high-quality of the speakers attending. We will also be contributing funds to our annual charity, which this year is The Parenting Network. (https://theparentingnetwork.co.uk/)

The day starts at 8 am (registration and tea/coffee) with the conference itself commencing at 8.45 am sharp. Proceedings will finish at 4.30pm…we can’t wait to see you all again!

As tickets will be snapped up very quickly, we are currently opening ticket sales to previous attendees ONLY for a limited time, prior to them going on general sale.
