The Liberty Recruitment Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with our fantastic client, in the search for a Accounts Payable Manager, to join their Finance team based in Northampton. This is a hybrid role and you would be joining the business at a really exciting time.
Reporting to a knowledgeable and approachable Finance Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of invoices and managing payment processes.
Some of your duties will include:
- Overseeing the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices
- Supervising and leading the Accounts Payable team
- Resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Implementing best practices and system enhancements
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors
- Training and development of team members
- Staying informed about changes to accounting regulations
The ideal candidate will come with management experience in an Accounts department, and you will have a good working knowledge of Outlook and Excel. Sage experience is desirable as well as studying towards an AAT, CIMA or ACCA qualification.
As an individual, you will be a strong and effective communicator, have strong attention to detail, be enthusiastic, and be able to remain calm under pressure.
