The Liberty Recruitment Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading distributor in recruiting a Depot Supervisor based in Nottingham.
The salary is up to £35,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus numerous company benefits, including; 25 days holiday and more!
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the depot. This is an operational hands-on role and other duties will include making sure the company vehicles are maintained and to ensure compliance with and H&S regulations and company policy.
Some of your duties will include;
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting Depot KPI’s
- Ensure that the depot and all staff, contractors and visitors adhere to Health and Safety and that the depot and vehicles are compliant with all Health and Safety regulations
- Driver supervision (Including Timesheets, Appearance/Uniforms, Documentation) and the implementation of driver training
- General administration support
- Ensuring the depot is up kept and required maintenance carried out
As an individual, it is essential that you have previous experience operating at a similar level and logistics knowledge.
Any knowledge of logistics, transport or warehousing in healthcare sectors, such as; NHS, medical devices, pharmaceutical or life sciences would be a huge advantage!
You will need working knowledge of H&S practices, a continuous improvement mind-set and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be resilient, tenacious and keen to lead by example.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The core depot hours are 6am – 6pm and this is a 40-hour contract. Your hours would be worked within this timeframe.
