Based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, this role will be focused on maintaining and shaping the HR department, ensuring the achievement of key organisational deliverable and objectives.
Reporting to a fantastic Operations Director, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing an Exit interview strategy and a Performance Management System
- Providing coaching and guidance to line managers in all aspects of ER and employment law
- Reporting and monitoring sickness & absence levels and providing advice to line managers
- Developing, maintaining and implementing policies and processes
- Overseeing and continually developing the recruitment and selection process, ensuring inclusivity
- Providing an annual report to the Executive Team making recommendations and detailing themes and trends
- Engaging the workforce in staff surveys to create engagement strategies and identify early interventions where appropriate
You will be CIPD Level 7 qualified as well as having a full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
You will be an experienced People Manager who is an excellent communicator with great reporting skills. You will be reliable and keen with great attention to detail.
You will be used to working in a busy environment and working at pace. The ability to prioritise is a must, as is a positive mindset!
In return, the Client is offering a salary of up to £51,000, depending on experience. The hours are 37 per week; Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours between 8am and 6pm.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days a week based in the office. There are also some fantastic benefits offered with this role including 25 days holiday, plus BH that increases with service, private medical insurance, your birthday off work, plus more!!
