Based in Portsmouth, our client is looking for a highly organised HR Advisor. Working closely with the business to plan, implement and support HR processes and projects that support the business. This part time position reports into a fantastic HR Director with option to work the hours over 3, 4 or 5 days a week.
What the HR Advisor role will involve:
- Advising managers on absence and sickness management. Arranging absence review meetings and providing Occ Health reports
- Support and guide on discipline and grievance matters in accordance with the company policies and employment legislation.
- Coach and guide managers with employee engagement plans
- Providing advice, guidance and ad-hoc training on personal development plans.
- Create and deliver in-house training courses as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous HR experience and CIPD qualification would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills – including the Microsoft Office package
- Reliability, confidentiality and great attention to detail
